After successfully launching and managing a busy salon in the
heart of London’s Covent Garden, Andrew decided that the
time had come to find his own niche in the market for a
contemporary salon which was modern and stylish. Alongside
his partner, John Ferguson who possesses many years of
experience overseeing an acclaimed fashion house, they
discovered an ideal setting for a boutique hair salon.
Bermondsey Street is one of London’s most flourishing areas,
and was the perfect choice of location for Andrew and John’s
vision. It plays host to a variety of creative businesses, some of
London’s finest pubs and bars, as well as Zandra Rhodes’
famous Fashion Museum. With close proximity to London Bridge
and the City, the street has become an exciting destination in its own right.

Anna manages and runs our front of house at Andrew Brown. After a 3 year career as a make up artist, assisting photographers and stylists for photo shoots, Anna has recently become a qualified beauty and massage therapist. With these skills combined she has excellent salon understanding and experience.
With over 15 years of experience within the hairdressing industry, Andrew has a wealth of knowledge and is an extremely talented hairdresser with an outstanding reputation.
After successfully co-owning and managing a busy West End salon, Andrew decided to pursue his own venture on the fashionable Bermondsey Street. In 2007, Andrew launched the Andrew Brown Salon, which was designed with every client’s needs in mind, in an upscale environment with relaxed charm.
Originating from Canada, Ryan moved over to the UK 10 years ago. With vast hair dressing and colour qualifications, Ryan successfully toured for 2 years within the musical theatre industry and was appointed head Wig Master for top West End shows such as Miss Saigon. Ryan also worked in TV and film, broadcasting his talents from cutting to styling. Ryan is a valued member of the Andrew Brown team and has worked with us since the very beginning.
Steve has an extensive career in hairdressing. After initially training in Bournemouth and successfully owning two hair salons, his reputation for hairdressing was recognised widely. In 2006, Steve was a finalist in the L’Oreal colour trophy award, and progressed to styling and cutting for a host of major magazines, such as Elle, Marie Claire, and Hairdresser’s Journal. Over the years Steve acquired a celebrity client base, and became an elite hair advisor on the hit Channel 4 program, Ten Years Younger.
Stefan, our New Zealand stylist, has a widespread knowledge in cutting and colouring. He is extremely talented with a creative eye and attention to detail. Stefan has an extensive career within the TV, film and fashion industry, which includes being part of the make over team for New Zealand’s Next Top Model, and working regularly as a creative stylist for fashion week. Stefan is recognised for his lovable kiwi charm, personable touch and long standing customer relationships.
Experienced hair stylist Ling has worked in various London salons but none as distinguished as Andrew Brown. Highly skilled with over10 years experience in the industry Ling specializes in all areas of hairdressing and has passion and flare for hair extensions and permanent hair straightening.
Emily has a true passion for hair and has already achieved an incredible amount in her career. Training with one of the world's leading hair companies - Toni and Guy - Emily enjoyed success within the company; achieving advanced diplomas in both cutting and colouring by the time she was 20. Taking part in competitions such as 'L’Oreal Colour Trophy', 'Wella Trend Vision' and also inter company events built her a reputation as a creative and enthusiastic talent. In addition to her place at Andrew Brown, Emily works freelance as a hair and make up artist. Her work includes backstage at shows, photographic shoots for major high fashion magazines and TV keeping her at the forefront of the industry. Emily brings to the salon her energy and love of the craft allowing her to deliver the ultimate client experience.
Ollie coordinates our front of house during our sought-after weekends. A gifted photographer with over four years freelance experience within the fashion, music, TV and beauty industry, Ollie has worked on top end celebrity shows such as America's Next Top Model, Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model and The Soap Awards. Ollie has exceptional laid-back charm and adds a touch of creativity to Andrew Brown.
Hannah is a distinguished perfectionist with an extraordinary eye for detail. With over nine years experience, Hannah is an accomplished all-round stylist, specialising in all aspects of hairdressing, from cutting and colouring to classical and modern hair up. Hannah possesses an advanced knowledge of the Brazilian blowdry and excels herself at customer service as well as delivering outstanding results.
